Our missions
The mission of the association Frag'iles SPM is its object. This one is to improve knowledge of species and ecosystems of the archipelago for their conservation and protection while trying to enhance this biodiversity to promote sustainable local economic recovery and environmentally friendly.
The missions that can be derived from the cognitive data acquisition but also additional or new ecosystem management to ensure sustainability.
The missions ensure marine mammals clearly establish reliable data and scientific programs can be exchanged and inserted in a network of observers following the migration of these animals. This work has already highlighted the national and international interests in the archipelago, and aims to create an observatory of marine mammals that integrates itself into an observatory wider marine environment.
Because of its decline and its history (30 years of data compilation) the association may also be based on elements of biodiversity adviser to decide by integrating the interests of the latter while ensuring its conservation.
It is only designed to work with managers, consulting firms, policy makers, ... on all sides.
