Identification of humpback whale

The shape, color of the caudal fin (tail) of this animal is unique and specific to each individual. By photographing the tail of the whale you can reference it and identify it later.

To identify an individual:
See the "catalog" of photos taken in the area (St Pierre and Miquelon_spm####, Newfoundland_tn ####). The photos were arranged in classes (A, B,C,...). These determine a category corresponding to the dominance anddistribution of colors (black, white) on the inner surface of the fin.
